The Brief

Luke Scott, from Mortgage Advice, approached me about wanting to change his website design to make it more accessible for the visitors and easier to use for him and his team, as they were looking to produce more content and get leads’ email addresses. A strategy was created to build a website that adapted better to the world situation with the COVID-19 crisis and to his needs.

The Approach

Before the COVID-19 crisis began, Mortgage Advice was in the business of face-to-face consultations and parts of their website were tailored to have the users contact them so that in the following email conversations they would book an in person appointment. When the situation started to get worse and the world took to Zoom to do their meetings, Luke saw an opportunity to change his business model to online meetings and in our initial call, that was the consensus.

When building the new website, everything was focused to how their consultation process works, how easy it is and why they are the better option to save money. For the appointment functionality, a system was implemented that allows the user to book a meeting in simple steps and get an email immediately with the Zoom link. For Luke and his team, this system is also integrated with their CRM, making everything easier to manage.

The tools used were:

  • WordPress
  • ActiveCampaign
  • WP Amelia
  • Zapier

I have absolutely NOTHING negative to say about working with Andres. As a matter of fact, I already referred him to a team member who wants to hire him for something and I'll be using him again for another website that I need to revamp! He is extremely communicative and highly responsive.
